This report provides an overview of the short, medium, and long-term fiscal sustainability challenges facing EU Member States according to a comprehensive horizontal assessment framework. This framework brings together in a synthetic way results on debt sustainability analysis (DSA) and fiscal sustainability indicators. It presents an overview of fiscal sustainability challenges across different time horizons (short, medium and long term), and allows for the identification of the scale, nature and timing of fiscal sustainability risks.
