The article summaries the macroeconomic projections for the euro area not only for the period 2014 and 2015 but also, for the first time, for the year 2016. Projections for a period over such a long horizon, however, are subject to very high uncertainty.2 This needs to be borne in mind when interpreting the macroeconomic projections.
